Is the Brandclub app worth your time to check out? I think so, but I’ll let you decide for yourself. This article will explore what I think of Brandclub and why I love it so much!
I’ll walk you through the app, how it works, how much money you can make (everyone’s favorite), and some pros and cons of the app. The company is relatively new, having started in 2021, but it seems to be steadily growing, and its customer service assistance is second to none.
Enough chatting– Let’s jump right in! Here’s my Brandclub app review.
HOT SAVINGS TIP! Brandclub is currently offering a $8 bonus to sign up so if you decide to sign up I would do it now before that changes! Use my link here to grab the $8 bonus!
What Is Brandclub?
Brandclub is a free mobile app you can download directly from their website here. If you sign up using my referral link here, we both get a $8 BONUS (varies so this could change). Once installed, you join clubs that center around your favorite brands and unlock exclusive member benefits. As soon as you install the app, you begin earning cash in your account starting with the $20 bonus and other bonuses for joining clubs and connecting accounts.
The company’s name comes from the premise of the app. For each brand you love, follow, and purchase from, you join a ‘club’ within the app to track your purchases from that brand and earn rewards –Hence, Brandclub.
How Does Brandclub Work?
Brandclub works by connecting the consumer (that’s you) directly to their favorite brands. It works similarly to how mail-in rebates worked back in the day, and the app features cash-back options for shopping all of your favorite brands.
When you open the app, you’ll see five options at the bottom of your screen:
- Home
- Shop
- A Plus Sign (Used to Sync Your Purchases)
- Rewards
- Accounts
Let’s take a look at what each function in the app allows you to do.
Home Tab
Your Home tab shows your reward balance, what clubs you can join, what products you can promote, and what accounts you can connect. It’s your app’s landing page.
Shop Tab
The Shop tab has numerous categories, like electronics, shoes, and jewelry. Clicking on jewelry will open another page that shows all cash-back offers related to jewelry within the app. Here you can see rewards that aren’t directly related to your chosen brands.
Plus Tab
The plus sign (+) in the middle resyncs your accounts and refreshes the app. When you click on it, it’ll show “finding new rewards,” “verifying purchases,” and “confirming rewards.” It’s important to remember that you can only sync accounts three times a day!
I usually will do this after I have made purchases at either Walmart, Target, or Amazon. If it doesn’t pick up anything at first just wait a couple hours and try again.
Rewards Tab
You can find brand deals chosen for you through the “Rewards” tab in the app. You’ll only see brands you have chosen to see through their clubs, so ensure you’re following all your favorite companies.
Once you’ve scrolled through the available reward options, select the ones you want to purchase. You’ll need to make the purchase through a linked loyalty account for the app to track your purchases.
For example, if you have a loyalty account through Target, you can make purchases through it, and the app can track them as long as you’ve synced your Target account. This works even in the store!
Accounts Tab
You’ll see your connected accounts under your accounts tab. There will also be offers to connect additional accounts the app thinks may be valuable to you.
How Much Can You Make From Brandclub?
There’s no cap on how much you can make per year from Brandclub. Some members make hundreds of dollars a year with both purchases and promotions. I’ve personally earned over $2876.33 in rewards and have cashed out $2791.90 as of 2024. You can see a screenshot from my actual account below.
Cash back rewards don’t expire for 365 days after you earn them, giving you a lot of time to rack up that money before you withdraw it.
Different merchants have different cash-back offers on certain products and brands so you can look around and compare.
How Do You Make Money With Brandclub?
One of the best ways to tell you if Brandclub is legit is to help you understand how you can make money with Brandclub.
First Brandclub is often offering sign-up cash bonuses for all new members, RIGHT NOW IT’S $8 USING MY LINK HERE!
Next, you’ll want to join your favorite brand’s clubs and sync related loyalty accounts. Right now you can link the following stores:
- Target
- Walmart
- Amazon
- Kroger
- Sephora
- Albertsons
- Best Buy
- Chewy
- Safeway
- Ralphs
- Fred Meyer
When joining the club, you’ll receive anywhere from $0.50 to $3.50 to join a brand’s club.
For example, I joined brand clubs like Vitafusion, Arm & Hammer, Scotch, Vital Proteins, and a bunch more. Just search for all the brands you normally use in your household. This will make sure you get rewards when you purchase from these brands and also will allow you to get surveys from these brands and earn even more money (more on this later)!
Once you’ve earned your bonus for downloading the app and all your bonuses for joining clubs you will use the app to start earning money when you make purchases online or in-store, for taking very quick surveys from the brands you joined, and by sharing products or the app with others (optional).
Let’s go over this in more detail below…………
Earn by Purchasing Products
This is how I’ve earned most of my rewards so far. Brandclub gives you rewards for purchasing certain brands and sometimes certain items from those brands as well. Brand rewards that aren’t for a specific item are locked until you complete a purchase of at least the reward’s amount with the same brand. For example, if you have a locked $0.50 Starbucks reward, you need to purchase a Starbucks product that’s at least $0.50 to redeem the offer.
If you buy a Starbucks item that has a bonus related to it through the Brandclub app, you’ll not only unlock that $0.50 reward but also the reward for the purchase.
Just be sure your store accounts are connected (Target, Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, and Chewy) and that you click the plus sign in the app to sync your purchases after you’re done shopping. This will not only unlock rewards you’ve just earned but also rewards for future purchases and also surveys.
Taking Short Brand Surveys
Surveys will start to show up in your account after you sign up for brand clubs and as you make purchases. Each survey will show the amount of money that you will earn for taking it.
These surveys are super short and can really add to your rewards. Make sure to always check for surveys. As you can see below I earned $2 in rewards for taking a 2-minute survey for Arm & Hammer. That will be rewarded the next time I purchase an Arm & Hammer product.
Sharing with Friends
Purchasing products and redeeming the rewards through the app makes you the most money, but you don’t need to buy anything to cash in. Through the app, you can promote products and interact with brands you find under your Home tab and you can also refer friends to the app.
For instance, let’s say there’s a featured product for K-cups. If you select the image, you’ll see three cash-back opportunities:
- Purchasing
- Completing surveys
- Affiliate commission
You share the product’s links with friends, family, and social media to earn an affiliate commission. If someone purchases that product through your link, you earn money without spending a dime.
I haven’t really tested out this portion of the app that lets you promote particular products for a commission but I have referred a few friends.
Referring is easy and it’s a win-win for both you and your friend. For example, if you use my referral link here we will both get a $8 reward! When I signed up it was just $10 so this may change at any time.
Pros and Cons of Brandclub
Every app has its ups and downs, especially when money is involved. Here, I’ve listed what I like and don’t like for my Brandclub app review.
Pros
- Brandclub deposits all rewards as US dollars directly into a Venmo or Paypal account, so there are no gift cards that get lost in the mail or vouchers that never arrive
- You have an entire year to cash out cash-back rewards before they expire
- Their customer service team resolves almost every issue within 24 hours
- You don’t have to spend extra money to earn rewards (you’re being rewarded for purchasing items you would buy anyway)
Cons
- To cash out, you have to complete your profile, have push notifications enabled, and have earned at least $10
- Rewards do expire
- You need to have connected accounts or cards to your loyalty programs for the app to track purchases
- There is a small learning curve but once you get that down it’s pretty easy
How To Get Started With Brandclub
You can download the Brandclub app through the app store or click here to use my link and get a $8 BONUS! You’ll need to make an account or sign in through Google, Apple, or Facebook. You’ll need an email and password (these protect your internal account information) and a cell phone number for a verification code.
After that, you’re in! You’ll need to sync at least one loyalty account to begin earning cash-back and take advantage of the offers and rebates. I connected my Amazon, Walmart, and Target accounts right away since that’s where I do most of my shopping.
For Walmart as long as you either use the same card connected to your Walmart account in-store or use Walmart Pay your purchases will automatically be tracked. There is also a way to upload your receipt to the Walmart app if you paid a different way in-store.
I do all my shopping in-store so I just created a Walmart online account and added the card I use most often to my account and it automatically tracks my purchases that way.
Summary
Overall, I’ve loved using the Brandclub app. It saves me money on everyday purchases and offers me ways to make money while shopping like I already do. I can even still use all my other favorite money-saving apps along with it so it’s a great app to stack even more savings.
The app is easy to use and has a straightforward interface that organizes my clubs and rewards. So, is Brandclub legit? Absolutely! Get signed up here for free and grab your $8 bonus before it goes down!
